Rik comes through again....

Just a quick post (hope I'm posting in the correct place) to thank Rik for taking such exceptional care with my presidential. I had sent my Pres in to Rik last year for a cleaning (after I had purchased it, which was my first Rolex purchase). I already posted about what a fantastic job Rik did (back then). I was very concerned about mailing an expensive watch to a stranger, but he came highly recommended on here (and, was very quick to respond to inquiries and always answered the phone when I called, or got right back to me).

Well, a few weeks ago the Pres just stopped running. I called Rik (also stated I'd be leaving the frigid NY snow to bask in the Sarasota sun on vacation at the end of Feb - he said to just stop by and he'd "sort it out"). Well, my father and I took a ride to his place early this morning. I got to meet Rik and his son and they took care of us. Enjoyed looking at pictures and talking about some of our favorite hobbies.

Rik instantly found the "screw" (so small, I could barely see it) that came loose. He fixed it up, even adjusted the timing (so it's now -.4 sec/day instead of +5 sec/day). The Pres is running like new and my dad and I had a great afternoon. I headed back to the pool and soaked up the sun..... Thanks again Rik! If anyone has any concerns about sending Rik a watch, don't.... I won't send my watches anywhere else... (Rik also took a watch my father had since he was 13 years old ----- and, fixed it! My dad spend years trying to get it to run again and was unable to get it running... Rik did a thorough cleaning and it runs like new......).

Regards,

Andy

That is good info to share, many thanks.

I have a 5513 in need of a service, and Florida looks like where it's headed.
