Whatever you hit the DeepSea on least that will be beyond repair.

From what I've heard they sell it as a complete unit and it run's somewhere around $1000.00 + to replace it.

How long have you had it? Just wait until it goes in for service at 5yrs maybe - that ding in the meantime will be a happy story and reminder you have a tough sob watch :)

I don´t want any funny jokes about that it´s not big enough. Big enough for me to feel bad for. |

are you a giant.....huge deepsea. even as I type this it's still loading.
I think I'd wait, can't really get a good perspective from that picture, but a fix will definitely cost north of a $1k, prolly $1300ish. |

The bezel of a Daytona is simply a pressed fit onto the mid casing... The DSSD is a mechanism with bearings and hardware that if you have ever seen an exploded view drawing would make you think twice before buying one of these... And btw, afaik, your AD can't do the switch out, it's gotta go to ROLEX....

Rolex isn't cheap. Bracelets and bezels cost more than used Omegas

Have to agree and will state further that picture the OP posted is a ridicules size for any forum. As the forum rules about posting pictures clearly state pictures of around the 900X900 picture size.

despite the huge pic' I still couldn't see anything worth shelling out over a grand on, 2 weeks after I bought my BNIB DSSD I smacked it on one of the glass cabinets at work, swore like a docker for 5 mins then forgot about it. It's just another battle scar & adds character.

That ding is not worth replacement. Get used to it because you will prolly get 3 more before next service...
RSC will refinish to perfection during next proper service. And if RSC can't refinish it right, they will let you know
