If by group buy you mean you buy and the group gets to wear it, I'm in! I got dibs on the second thursday of the month.

Congratulations on being able to acquire your dream watch. An amazing accomplishment and I'm sure a great feeling.

So are any of you going to wear it on a brown strap to match the bezel?

that may be cool for some and see your point would be a good match but can't do that with Rolex and personally I am not a strap guy

BTW would also take half a pound off the weight of the watch!

Precisely. It's like taking the alcohol out of beer. What's the point of drinking it then? Likewise, you get the platona because of the weight.

Same with me, Tom. Not a strap guy either. A strap doesn't do well with our weather. Even so I have to have a bracelet.

Your right Art, never knew how the leather would tolerate constant sweat, heat, sun, saltwater.

I always think dressed up going out for dinner with a leather strap

since all my watches actually do everything with me don't think the leather would hold up well

if someone did it Im sure it would look nice, just not for me
