Sold the OOO for the eXact same reason! thanks heaven the 372 is butter smooth and a good 3 days of power reserve. The big crown helps too!

DTOTM is a stunner, I find the gray dial looks good too. jen

Reading through this again, you can see I'm conflicted! 233 vs DSOTM. I've flip flopped on these watches probably every other day. Obviously I want both

My solution is to make more money so I can buy whatever is left out next year.

Just saw the DSOTM irl. It is just too shiny!
In photos i liked it a lot but in real life a total disappointment!
233 no contest!

233 over DSOTM but from your signature it appears you've made your decision.

Now that I've had the DSOTM a few days I'm having doubts I made the right choice. I was very conflicted to begin with. And it was a toss up. Anyone ever face the same dilemma?

Love my DSOTM but flipped a Hublot for it so not the same comparison. It's such a personal thing watches. If you always wanted a 233 then your heart will always long for it until you scratch that itch. That said you have an awesome watch in the dsotm and many will want to be in your boots. Enjoy it for a bit then scratch that itch futher down the road.

Sometimes you have to go through these situations, especially if there was some uncertainty around the decision.
If the love is not there for the Omega, move it quickly and get into the 233 and don't look back

I saw a DSOTM in person and was not really wow'd.

I think the new version with the plat dial looks better to me.

I would get the 233.

I traded the Dsotm for a 233 N series. I know now THIS was the right choice after all. I wanted one since I first discovered Panerai. I have never been happier with a watch purchase. I need to take some pics and do a new, updated incoming eh?
