Peter, I'm looking forward to seeing a price on that one. If it's low enough, and if I can get a good enough deal on it, I may buy it. It reminds me of some futuristic sci-fi machine. As long as it has the El Primero inside, I have to qualms with it as a watch. When committing cash to it, I just have to consider that it is mine forever. ;-) I can't wait to see it in person.

I find those silly, insidious, moving gifs really annoying. I don't find them funny or amusing at all. Maybe the first time I ever saw them -- about fifteen years ago, they were funny. Not any more.

My humor is my humor, and you're well familiar with it. You can explain it to the locals if you like. I really don't give a sh!t if they don't recognize traditional emoticons. The twirly things on the dial are the mp3 player and video phone,a great movement, shame about the face.

That was a bit much, don't you think? I would think you would want others to understand your feelings or emotions behind your words. Talking to a person face to face affords one the ability to read body language and facial expressions, thus allowing us to determine the speakers mood. Whereas, simple words in black and white can camouflage the meaning behind the statements.

I agree. And I do use emoticons for guidance. But I use the old-school universal emoticons. There used to be graphic versions of them here (that you could drag into posts from the list below the editing window) but they're gone now. Must be a conspiracy against old farts like me. ;-)
