UK AD's who post internationally

Anybody here buy Rolex from UK authorised dealers and get them shipped internationally? (no ADs where I live, I'm a Brit who lives outside the UK nowadays)

My previous Rolex UK AD who I bought many watches over the years has shut down so I am now in limbo and no longer have a Rolex relationship, pretty sad as they were fantastic to deal with (typically just before the Daytona Ceramic release which was gutting)

Please PM me info if you do as would not want to get any ADs in trouble.

Got my Daytona from Ian blowers who couriered it to Europe with insurance albeit it wasn't cheap circa 150gbp because of insurance .

Thanks - yes Blowers were good for me also as I purchased my Sub from them, pleasure to buy from!

However I'm looking for a authorised dealer so I can get on the list the future for the rarer pieces at RRP price.

Bit unfortunate timing in my case as I had a great relationship with my UK Rolex AD and sure I would have been offered the new Daytona or been close to the top of the list (bought many watches and jewellery from them so they were very nice to me )

As far as I'm aware UK AD's are not allowed to distance sell (Rolex rule)

A grey would do though or maybe some independents may work around this but would be for know customers on the quite.

You can buy from an AD and have it shipped to another branch that may not have AD status! Say like your local Goldsmiths is not a Rolex AD however you can deal with a Goldsmiths which is an AD and have it sent to your local branch.

Yes a few did and I know a number of EU AD's who will as well but from what I've found in recent times they are now not allowed to here.

Will require a huge amount of trust on your part but I would be more the happy to collect a one from a UK and shipping it to you if that is of any help?

Was it shipped outside EU? If so did you wangle the VAT back!!?

This is one of the reason I try to avoid greys as 99.9% of the watches they cant do VAT deduction. Blowers do on the odd watch (I did on my Sub) but most they cant

Much appreciate your offer Sam, might take you up on that one day if the Daytonas become readily available! Though hell will prob freeze over first

I have nothing else in mind at the moment as pretty content with my collection just sad I lost my Rolex relationship more then anything and no doubt in the near future will be wanting another SS Sports or upgrade my Daytona to the ceramic!!

Cheers!!

UK AD's are not allowed to ship Rolex internationally, if Rolex find out the retailer gets stripped of their Rolex AD status.

Understand this also. Maybe in the past my AD made an exception as I live in a British Overseas Territory, with no watch ADs in my country so UK market is the obvious option to buy

Out of interest I am guessing Tag, Omega, Patek etc dont have this rule as i dont seem to have this problem with them brands, just Rolex
