IMHO.. Hulk, as it is harder to get now with rumors about limited production and maybe total stop in 2018. BNLR was my first choice though as it has more dressy side. YM is hard to be seen as Rolex Watch and I would never think about owning one again IMHO. Finally only Daytona can be accepted as a Rolex without date.

Couldn't add picture to my original post but here is my 16610LV .

All rounder modern BLNR gets my vote.

The OP hasn't been seen or heard from since 15 minutes after starting the thread; thinking he's decided on an Omega...

A quick one.

I'm close to purchasing my first luxury watch & have between 7-9k (£) to spend.

I'm down to four I like:

BLNR
16610LV
Yacht-Master
14060M

Which to go for & why?

Huge thanks in advance!

Dave.
Funnily enough your list is exactly how my order of preference would be for these watches:

1. BLNR - probably my favourite modern ref. The whole thing just works.
2. 16610LV - I love the contrast of the black and green. A far better looking watch than the current all green IMO.
3. Yacht-Master - some great colour/dial options and a less common choice than the Sub.
4. 14060M - The Sub is a classic, no doubt, but quite boring in my eyes compared to the other 3.

Lol I hope not!!!

My 2 pence?.....

BLNR, then after some time, get the LV. It's an all time classic. Can't believe I passed up on it when it first came out. Kick myself to this day!

I'd recommend the 14060M. The BLNR looks like a kissing cousin of several Seiko models...

Yacht-Master for me, pure class and versatility. Any dial will do although I prefer the platinum dial.
