^^^Not the place to discuss fake watches^^^

To the OP - You pull that off Buddy - congrats.

Unless you own/have tried one, its so difficult to give any perspective. It's a huge piece, but it wears amazingly and seems to shrink on the wrist.

Congrats and look forward to more images.

No worries. No offence taken. I do own the real thing and was trying to share my experience of TRYING a rep for a month to see if I love the watch. half the threads on here are people asking if they should get a watch or asking if ROO are too big. I answered my same question myself by buying a rep and thought I would share my idea with others to help them make a choice with less risk.

[QUOTE=grnman;5719488]im with everyone else. I saw the panda on you and didn't want to put you off the 44. but wow there is definitely something about that FC 44 that looks really really good on you. I think you have made a fantastic purchase! the FC is definitely a daily wearer as well.

I bought a replica FC 44 to try out to see if I liked it first. I know its a rep but its still on my wrist. My friends hate it being a rep and think its sacrilege. Watches are about enjoyment and this rep FC 44 is bringing me that so im rocking it at present.

but by the way don't by a rep. the real deal is waaaay better obviously. The rep is about $600USD and the ceramic is not AP ceramic and the crystal is not AP crystal. As its a rep I tried to scratch it and yes both materials scratched.

Sorry im getting off topic and making myself look like a muppet talking about Reps. What I meant to say is the FC is wicked fun to wear and with its comfort and weight I think that's why its still on my wrist.

I just came back from Bali to give it a test run in the sweaty heat which I hate wearing watches in, and because its so light I could wear it loose at the end of my wrist and I didn't have to worry about stretching the bracelet.

keep us updated with it and go the distant wrist shots. we all know what they look like up close.

Mate.. Your GMTII, shouldn't the cyclop be anti glare? .. This is a nice shot nonetheless! Thanks for sharing!

Nope they don't put anti glare on the Cyclops on Rolex as its a bubble and gets scratched off easier. On Rolex the crystal is but not the date bubble is not AR.

I think I read somewhere the ROO doesn't have a AR coating but the crystal is such good quality it looks like it does.

Is that a scratch on that ceramic bezel at 6 o'clock? Or is that a sticker? Your ceramic bezel will look a lot more glossy once that sticker is peeled off under that lighting condition!

Trying out my husband's new watch.

Actually, I believe Rolex puts antiglare beneath the cyclops, between that and the main crystal.
See how clear it looks through the cyclops on my GMTC and my wife's SubC.

Scroll down a bit on this page to see comments/pics about that...

http://www.minus4plus6.com/116710.htm

AP states "glareproofed sapphire crystal and caseback", but I think the antiglare is only on the inside of the main and caseback crystals.

http://www.audemarspiguet.com/en/wat...U.OO.A002CA.01

On the magnifying glass of the AP, though, it does look like there's antiglare on top, with a bluish tint on my FC.

I much prefer not having antiglare on the outside of the crystal because the tint changes the color of the dial, and can easily show scratches.
Having just antiglare underneath helps with glare and protects the coating, though it obviously won't look as clean.
My previous Omega X-33 has easily observable antiglare (purplish) on on top of the main crystal (and likely underneath as well), while my previous IWC obviously does not.
Current IWCs use antiglare (bluish) on top of their crystals, and probably underneath as well.

Yes it is a scratch on the bezel of the RG 44mm. I have the H serial number Jennifer and I believe the I serials may have a slightly different finishing on the ceramic. I cant believe these bezel are suppose to be "indelible" and I have a scratch on it. I haven't tried to get it off yet though.

And yes the AP's do have AR on the DW. They may have AR on the inside, but not of the outside.
