Yeah I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much having the modern versions...but it's great on the wrist. Congrats.

Congratulations!

The "Zenith Daytona" has always been my favorite Daytona.

I have literally handled every Daytona reference imaginable, from the rarest of the rare to the more commonplace models. From a personal aesthetic perspective, the 16520 and 16528 models are my favorites.

You picked a good time to buy one too. Values should strongly increase from here, as Rolex's first-ever automatic Daytona is finally incontestably vintage and important.

Wear it in good health!

I bought it from a reputable watch and jewelry dealer in Manhattan who was looking for me. As all have said buy the seller. AD's only had TT's and newer rose gold 116500's at ludicrous prices. I waited a while to find a well prices honest and unabused piece. I'd probably seen at least 10 pieces that were overpolished and decided against those with the solid advice of board members here on the Forum. I really wanted one but had to slow myself down from trying to so a deal just because I found one and really look at the piece. You'll know it when you find the right one. Thanks.
