I was due one after another delay from last September (after the 1st delay) to this January.

As much as it's a cool watch, the shine kinda wore off, looks like they'll be plenty around on the secondary market, so I cancelled my order.

Yes, refund was no problem, was literally within 24 hours. Customer service was superb.

Well, was July, then Nov, now Dec....

am kinda pissed to see two on Chrono, ordered mine darn fast as wanted purple and emailed them about it before it was officially announced. Hopefully they ship from within the USA.

Christopher Ward Bel Canto broken promises

Gentlemen! Just got an email, supposedly from Mike France…the CEO of Christopher Ward. They are delaying my order (placed on 12/21/22) for March 2024. This is the fifth delay!. I think they just can’t deliver. They supplied the YouTubers and social media influencers with Bel Cantos to pump their marketing, and now can’t get the watches we paid for delivered. Smells like fund raising and interest collecting campaign to me. I will never buy another watch from this company. They sell Sellita movements in pretty cases. Everything else is broken promises.

You do have the option of requesting a refund. That's what I did. It was challenging and took multiple calls, but eventually got the refund.

You're right - Sellita movements in pretty cases. But, I still want one of their new moonphase watches.

I just won't order anything that they don't already have on hand.

Just received an email from CW customer service this morning. My estimated delivery date was pushed from February (originally October 2023) to late March…not a big deal. I appreciate them sending an update, and even nicer they gave me a code for $300 off my next purchase due to the additional delay.

It's nothing great about this watch. I'd have one but chime with very soft sound I can't even hear it. To me it's just another ordinary watch.

Hi Steven, I did sent it back to CW. But the watch technician checked and said my watch is okay and it's normal as long as it chime with sound.

Seriously, I really can't hear a sound at all even its inside my room with no other noise.
Only when I put it near my ear then I can hear it. ..WTF.

I can't return the watch to them for refund and I just have to accept it.

Just my luck!!!!!

Just an idea: When you get it back, record the chime and some more sound effedt that others know in the same sound file. Maybe this way we could listen if your watch is really too quiet, and if it is, you can prove that there is something wrong with it.

Allanmodel, hmmm... can you make and post a video somewhere? Mine does chime at a 'good' volume (all things considered) and yes i can hear it as can my wife without being very close to it. Mine sound like this:

I ordered the Bel Canto Peach Gold Dial in December 2022 once the order link was published. It was supposed to be delivered in November 2023, but I received an email in May 2023 stating that the ETA would be in March 2024. I sent an email last week, and they confirmed that the ETA is still March 2024. I have one more week to wait.

Can anyone share when they received the email requesting payment and when they actually received the watch?
