That's great. Brought back some memories of watching the Simpsons.

We are flying first class on a big plane and have our own space but you bring up a good question. What is a good venue to deliver this fine gift?

I don't know... I'm not very good at these things. When I got my wife a nice watch for our 10th anniversary, I just handed it to her and told her to wear it in good health.

If you are flying to a different time zone, while on the plane ask her what time it is where you will be flying. While she is looking trying to figure it out, hand her the watch with the correct timezone set on it.

Nice gift Brian.

I can hear the announcement now.

"Is there a watchmaker on the plane who can size a Rolex Day Date".

Well I had to give it to her where we got merried in Twain Harte CA. We had our annual summer vacation last week and I sprung it on her after giving her a multi paragraph love letter. It was a great moment and she loved the gift. The 3 kids were blown away too. Great moment and she is warring it daily. Thanks for all the suggestions and comments. Based on the thread I needed to change the timing and location and it worked out great. Thanks TRF!

She absolutely loved loves it...although she did need a bit of time to get use to how much bling it created. The fluted bezel reflects light fiarly well. The significance of the 10 years of "time" that has gone by and the future "time" that we have in front of us made it a nice momento that she will enjoy forever.

If you grab one you / she will not be dissapointed.
