The only watch that beats the SD43 hands down for the crown of the most ludicrously uncomfortable Rolex ever manufactured is of course the DeepSea.

Full disclosure, 7 3/4 inch wrist here, so it isn't a matchstick wrist that inspires the above review

Interesting, I have 6.5 inch wrists and actually found the DeepSea to wear more comfortable than the 43. The 43 caused me great discomfort. The DeepSea was just a slog to wear.

I would not trade . There is more versatility with the SS model but if you like the other models do what makes you happy ! Good. luck !
