The DJII is an amazing watch with nice size (41 mm) .. I own the SS DJII with silver dial and diamonds as numerals.
Gives the good feeling of metal on your hand .. and good weight .. with the right fitting size on your wrist.
Highly recommended ..

I'd go with white and a fluted bezel. :)

I love seeing pics of your watch. I 'm trying to choose between yours or the 36mm version with jubilee

what I like about the blue bezel is the darkness of it. I have shown it to my wife and at first she thought it was black.

I went with TT DJ2 as my first Rolex, other than inherited DJ from years gone by. I wish I had waited because now I would rather have a Sub, Tudor BB, or Milgauss. I rarely wear the DJ and instead pick up another sub like watch for daily wear. It's of course all in what you like, but I thought it was the thing to have for someone my AGE!

I've decided on the DJII with fluted bezel for my first rolex. But I'm struggling on choosing between a silver or blue dial.

I want a versatile watch for all occasions and I think the silver dial fits that bill. On the other side I feel the blue dial adds just a little extra touch of class. But can it be worn dressed down in jeans and tshirt?

Blue vs Silver dial? Thanks

I myself have a black dial but the choice of dial is a personal preference that I do not think you should let others to decide and in particular it is your first DJII.

Yes I completely agree. But I was wondering if anyone had the same dilemma &/or how happy they were with their choice

Just picked this one up recently and couldn't be happier with the deep blue dial.

I have the smooth bezel white dial DJII. I never dress up, and living in Florida it's shorts t-shirt and flip flops 24/7 . My DJ truly goes with anything. Plus with all the knock offs out there these days I never even get a second glance. Wear what you like.
