No joke, and that kind of discipline is not easy at all - particularly the strict consistency required for nutrition. I think we’d get along in the real world, I like to go hard and keep my fitness level high too.

Thanks for sharing.

Gratz on watch!
I ride a SPecialized Sirrus X5.0 as my daily/lite trails. I use to ride chunk and dirt jumps on a Giant Trance advanced but since sold it as I haven't been going hardcore aggressive. Typically ride around town, gravel, and nice river trails with the lady. Nomad is BadAss

Nice watch and bikes. Being Coloradan, I ended up buying local bikes: an Eriksen gravel bike and Spot Mayhem for the trails. If I would quit spending my money on bikes, I might be able to pick up a Daytona as well.

No problem.

OT:
It’s easier maintaining when you get above that 45yr age than rebuilding. I am a type A mentality kind of person and it’s hard to accept you just don’t bounce back as easy when your a bit older and this time drove that point home to me. “The only easy day was yesterday” kind of training. Staying focused and seeing goals met are certainly rewarding enough but buying a Daytona as a reward makes the watch worth more and acts as a reminder not to lose focus. So you could say my Panda is a fitness tool watch.
So at 50yr I am 6’ 2” 200lbs and benching 325lbs. Not bad for a guy that is getting a lot of unwanted AARP mail. Advise for those 35 and younger, if your in shape, keep the pedal down. If you want to get in shape, do it asap as it gets harder and more painful the longer you wait.

Custom made titanium road bike with Di2. Heading out for a ride right now to Mt. Soledad. And congrats on the new watch!

Sage advice. Maintenance is indeed far easier (though not easy!) than starting this to build later in life…like, trying to “get in shape” after 40-45 is SUPER difficult.

No excuses ha, go get it!
