Vikings in the opener (looking good!); can't stand the Cowboys. In the afternoon game, kind of a toss-up. I wouldn't mind seeing either team win, but I tend to root for the underdog, which should be the Jets.

Honestly though, Bill, there's a good chance a team who's never won a SB will do it this year, and that would be cool. Overall, I would like to see the Saints win it all.

How about you?

< Sorry guys - quick side bar >
Wife is from Wisconsin...Huge Favre loyalist / Fan...ergo, I am now as well. I am rooting for the 40-something QB to go all the way. However, I like the Saints as well.

Your Seahawks will bet getting a good coach in Carroll. I just wish he had not left my undergrad institution... but cest la vie :-(

< Done with side bar - thanks >

<Addendum to sidebar> Well, I'm a 49er fan living in the NW (originally from San Jose), so the Hawks aren't really my team. But you wouldn't believe how polarizing Carroll's hiring has been here. It should be interesting though, and we'll see if he can improve on his past NFL performance. I always liked him.

I didn't know you went to USC. Cool!

/hijack.
