I'd like to echo what everyone else said, but will add that PP really hit a huge home run with the 5167. Elegant simplicity and versatility all in 1 magnificent watch! Congrats!

I don't have any pics handy, but this one actually does have real good lume.

Thanks you all very much

Your comments are what always add even more to the joy of owning a new piece.

The watch strap needs patience to size and careful/constant measuring/checking putting the watch on/off following each cut. Started with two at a time and then one leaving it looser than you normally would at the end.

My local AD watchmaker said he'd do it as he'd done them before and knew exactly how much room to leave. Especially as you needed more room with the tropical strap tending to pull in a bit over time as it moulds to your wrist shape.

It's not a hard thing to do as you can see from Puffy's tutorial but its an easy thing to get wrong if you're not patient and fit it too snug.

I've already found that its shifted during my course of wearing it as my wrist changed with the different temperatures.

With the watch being so light it works very well to have it with more room than you normally would.

I found this with the AP diver also. I tend to often have that one notch down than I think would be right when I first put it on. With this you don't have the choice ....once done that's it.

Once again....really appreciate the comments.

This is a very special watch.

Hope you are enjoying it as much as I am. I was a Rolex man like you and now with my second PP I realize I am on a slippery slope.

Once you go Patek Philippe, nothing else feels quite as sweet.
