If it was mine, I honestly wouldn't be bothered enough to get the dial swapped for such a minor blemish. The risk of a dial swap and what could come back worse may outweigh the potential benefit. Try to just enjoy your new watch, minor character mark and all! Your warranty is good for a year, so if after a few weeks or months it still bothers you, then you can always try for a better dial.

Sounds like it's going to bother you make it easy on yourself and ask them to provide a replacement. Don't sweat what others would do - it's your watch.

If it bothers you then speak to your AD about it.

At the very least you'll know where you stand rather than trying to second guess what their response might be.

PS: Congrats on the watch!

It would probably bug me too. I don't really know if I can see it i the pictures. Maybe it's only my eyes that are bad.

But of course, if the watch has something on it that should not be there, you should go back and get it fixed/replaced.

It will most likely continue to bother you so go get it fixed.

I know I would.

Here's the question I always pose in these situations:

Would this example be used in one of their ads, or on the Rolex website?

Or, put next to one without this flaw, before you parted with your money, would you knowingly choose this one?

No.
No again.

Totally agree.
If, or when the time comes to sell it and the buyer spots it, they will try to knock you back on price.
I hope these types of flaw are extemely rare.

Get it fixed, and take a lupe with you when you collect!

I can't see it either but take it back to AD and have them look at it with a loupe and get their opinion.

Excellent advice, I'd have it taken care of.

The 12 o'clock marker on my BLNR is blemish free. FWIW, if it looked like yours, I'd take it back.

Not sure how you made out, but this should bring up the discussion of carefully inspecting any high-item piece prior to acceptance. Saves some grief down the road. If it truly irritates you, then by all means have it addressed.

If the Ad gave you this watch for free I wouldn't worry about it, but if you paid anywhere around 8000 of your hard earned dollars for it then I would have the AD take care of it. Good Luck

I paid $96xx including tax. It's hard to find one already, not to mention a discount pricing

Exactly. If that is the only flaw than I'd think about it. But if it were me my eyes would be drawn to it everytime I looked at the time.

I've never gone over mine with anything more than the naked eye.

If this happens often to these watches, it wouldn't bug me as much as I am the only fews who paid full price and with flaw on it.

BTW, all of this talk about an exchange notwithstanding, the AD will probably just swap the face out...
