Sometimes i see people with watches on their right and wonder he they pulled that of.
Like they can wear their watches on both wrists? That's a steal.

I’m a leftie but have always worn watch on my right. I had a cast on for a few weeks once and wore it on my left was totally wierd and felt like trying to write with the wrong hand!

Wearing a watch on the dominant hand makes it more prone to damage from collision or even worse getting snagged and potentially damaging the owner. I'm quite happy to have my watches on my nondominant left wrist.

I wear my watches on the left,
But occasionally also do it on the right.

It just feels different and looks good......

I’m right handed, but shoot a bow left handed. Whenever I’m practicing or in pursuit, I throw the g-shock on my right wrist so the watch doesn’t interfere with my release strap.

I’m right handed and have only ever worn watches on my right wrist, as someone said earlier, wearing it in the left feels totally alien and weird to me.
Yeah it takes a few extra knocks but then again, it’s a tool that’s worn at the end of an arm so it’s going to isn’t it?

From a practical position it's incorrect, from a preference point of view i guess it doesn't matter if that's what you like . Right hand watch wearers should have watches for left handed people, otherwise its less functional.
Chronic pushers are one thing, but do you operate the crown for date setting, etc with the watch still on your wrist? I’m one of those morbid LHD buyers who wear the watch “incorrectly” on the left wrist. It has made no difference for me as I’ve always just taken my watches off to operate the crown anyway.

not weird if you are left handed. Wearing a watch on both wrists at the same time is weird.

I tried it once or twice just for a change ... I’d need to adjust my watch considerably to get the right fit.

its like driving a UK car in the US with the steering wheel on the wrong side. I wouldn't do it.
“that is weird.” Are you 12? Who cares if someone wears a watch on a side that doesn’t match the crown?

For the OP, I wear mine on my right because I’m left handed. Simple as that. Less desk dives, etc. It would be nice if I could get the watches I like with the crown on the left side, but oh well. Not that big of a deal and I’m not going to drop $10k-$30k on a watch even though I don’t really care for it because the watch I really like has a crown on the right side. I purchased a new Panerai years ago with the crown on the left, but I only kept it for a couple months. Least accurate watch I’ve ever owned.

sometimes... with my big pilot i did. But then again the giant crown was sort of functional in the sense it was made big so you could manipulate it with gloves on. I assume they also wanted it to stay on too? Otherwise you might drop it.

Right hand for everything else.

Just realized I’m a weirdo.

What's "wrongwrist" about it? Whichever wrist you wear it on is the the right wrist. Which in my case is my right wrist.

I'm right handed.

in the US if you have a steering wheel on the other side you are a mailman.

That way they can put mail in the mail box from the right side of the car
