That's a cool story! If you have taken the pic where the watch if lay flat with the case back hitting the back of the clasp then maybe you should not do this as it does cause slight marks to those areas. Just saying....

I have had the same experience with a GMT LN that I bought, loved, didn’t love, sold, regretted.

Now I’ve half persuaded my AD that if Rolex release a GMT on jubilee with the new movement and red GMT hand that I’ll be near the upper end of the list. Failing that I’ll do the same as you and find another close to NOS.

Thanks for the story.

Congrats! Never saw a recent 14060M with chamfers before.

Interesting since my 14060m bought new at an AD in 2011 did not come with them.

Huge congrats! The 14060m is a classic Rolex. Enjoy that bad boy! I just hope you don’t regret selling your explorer

Hi,
Beautiful watch.

Did you see the watch on David's website first or did you call him and ask to find one ?

Regards,

Mike

The chamfered edge is extremely thin on the 14060m, it's not like on some of the vintage models with a very clearly defined cut edge. But it's definitely there, and my old one from 2012 also had them. You see how they catch the light and pronounce they line of the lugs. To see them properly you need to look really closely at the transition between the brushed top and the polished side of the lugs.

I happened to catch it on his website shortly after it was added.

This is great to see. Someone that had a passion for Rolex way before the hype.
