In addition to the above posts, they "play" off another name. TNS diamonds uses "Philadelphia Watch & Diamond Exchange", because they are basically right down the street from a longstanding and very reputable pre-owned Rolex/watch dealer named "National Watch & Diamond Exchange". National Watch has a very large store in Philly and has been in existence for many years. I know people that have done business with them, and although they aren't the "cheapest" place in town, I have never heard any sleazy stories about them. Years ago, when I was looking for a particular watch they didn't have, the owner was very helpful in guiding me in the right direction as to where I may find the watch.
I believe they sell on-line, but don't know if they sell on e-bay. However, my point was that I "believe" that the sleazy tactics of TNS/Philadelphia Diamond & Watch Exchange are exemplified by the confusion they probably have created by the similarity of their name with a long established legitimate operation. |

x2. I am not a lawyer, but do have an appreciation for the law. That said, as a consignment shop there is an obligation for the consigner to act in the interests of the consignee. So, this is a breech of contract, and is equivalent to fraud.

Wow
![]() ![]() ![]() I saw one on TZ yesterday. I asked the guy 3 times is the dial tritium? 3 times he told me "yes". Then on the telephone he tells me the dial was replaced in 2001 and that it glows in the dark ![]() ![]() That was right after he told me he sells a lot of watches and this one was his personal piece, he has references but only e-mail addresses and no-one of any noteriety on TZ or anywhere else. (Gees that made me feel confident ![]() The photos showed these massive gouges on the top of the lugs, but the dude tells me they were hairline scratches ![]() I said.........."I'll think about it." ![]() ![]() ![]()
