Thanks!
They're offering a refund and that's all I would accept.

OP did so and was offered refund or in-house repair.

OP had perfectly understandable doubts about repair and asked for advice.

Thanks. That’s exactly why I posted. Ultimately I remembered that having owned Rolexes since 1989, I have come across stories of brand new ones and/or ones back from RSC after service with issues so it happens and knowing DavidSW has such a great reputation I felt better about having them fix it. No different than had I bought it from AD and discovered a problem. They would simply send it to RSC for service.

I would not be afraid to order from David again. I have used David and Patrick from OC RolexGuy on this site. They are to be trusted 100%. Over a 10 year period and a bunch of watches going back and forth, sure a problem has come up. They both take care of it instantly.

Just a case of novice panic ,,, I think he was just looking for reassurance. David has received some well deserved solid publicity out of this thread. I think intentions were good.

Exactly. I knew DavidSW had a good reputation as a seller but wasn’t sure about wether or not they were just as good in fixing a watch so was looking for feedback on just that specific thing. Also was trying to determine if a day not changing at midnight was a sign of potentially big movement problems on a DD but after some more research I’ve learned that it can be a pretty simple fix and nothing to be worried about.

Hope you get it sorted OP.

We’d like pictures of the watch when you get it back
