For those lazy to click on the link.....

Some really nice pieces worn by a great artist. I wish enjoyment to those who buy the watches (in other words, not a pure financial play).

Elton John watch collection auction

Less than 8 hours remaining to register for tonight’s auction of Elton’s Leopard Daytona!

PS: only 42 diamonds on the lugs - not the 48 noted in the description

you’re right!
I missed the 4th row of 3 in the center of each lug.

Need better contacts!

They always underestimate - purposefully.

I remember the David Gilmour guitar auction - guitars went for roughly 10-20x estimates (Christie’s) - my estimates were spot-on, however.

Wow, I love this one.

I would take it at $30k.

There's a Tank Normale in there that my wife would wear.

And his art and photography collection is OVER THE TOP. There are some stunning pieces in there, at appropriately stunning prices/estimates.

I sort of like the leopard. Hate to admit it. $40-$60k seems too low.

Its a shame to see all of the bashing of his tastes. He would look ridiculous wearing the old boring sub that everyone drools over on here.

Love EJ's flair, we each have our own unique style. Also, many of the photos, etc he is auctioning are amazing is so many ways. There's lots of historic and important high-fashion goodness there. Ok, some here might not mirror HIS style... and that is fine. Artists are just that, and perhaps his art does not resonate with you.

Be you. EJ will be him. All good

PS: I would have kept the Banksy.
