Well said Peter

I learned something the other day, perhaps those who know more than I do can elaborate. There are many (too many?) posts about RSC versus rolex-trained shops. How can there be such a price difference?

When Rolex removes a screw from a movement, they replace it. They don't put the scratched-up one back into your watch. When you get the watch back, the movement is factory-perfect. The lone ranger-style shops don't do this. They take a screw out and if it's mangled, they put it right back in. THIS is how they can charge less. Im sure there are other differences, but the non RSCs are banking on you never checking their work. Does it matter? Maybe not, but this might explain it.
