I think a orange dial would suit him better.

I don't give it much thought and I'm dressed down 99% of the time.
The LV goes great with anything from my first hand experience. Don't overthink it. |

Being colorblind I either nail it or risk embarrassing my wife until she corrects my choices before heading out.

Have you considered the Titanium Rolex? the one with the black bezel, it's the Rolex Sub Standard, yet 'Non Maxicase' and a very popular watch, the dial I think is reversed to that of the Ceracrom, so the numbers stick out as opposed to cut into the dial.
It's a dark watch, but would be an alternative incase you're worried about the green color sticking out... although as I wrote in the previous message the starbucks is a very very nice watch, between the two starbucks wins in my books, but I wanted to share a 'modern alternative to the starbucks' so it's a step into the future juxtaposed to the Black on Black Ceramic Rolex Sub, it's Titanium , super light and with the reversed dial it looks like a yacht master ii except using different materials... that would be on par with the starbucks at resale price and availability, you can sell it back to your AD or leave it on consignment, they generally charge you 5% upmark on your price to stock and resell it once you drop it off.. I attended University in Austin, so incase you're in Texas... well that would really help with purchase/resale as TX is one of those states where people are smart, invest well, and have capital to spend... Whatever you choose to buy, post it in the forum, so we can congratulate you... I think this is still one of those hobbys (watches) where the online community is supportive... best of luck!!!! |

I never give it a moment's thought.
Perhaps the least important aspect of watch-ownership. |

Color is something to be considered but not really a problem hence I have other watches to pear it up with.
