The one I have to own is a day date 2 yellow gold with diamonds.
I have my gmt master, datejust and Daytona is next. Previously owned a day date MOP with two baguette diamonds, regret selling that! |

There's my "dream" list and my "realist" list, which is more likely to ever actually happen! No point me fantasizing about watches I'll never own, so here's my realist list!
I've elected to have just one dress watch and one sports watch from the modern and vintage era respectively. Vintage dress: The humble s/s 1601 DJ birth year - GOT Vintage Sports 16650 - NEED. In fact, I need this so badly I would kill just about any man you can name for one.... :-) Modern sports: 216570 Explorer II white face - GOT Modern Dress: Gold Daydate II. - NEED! |

I used to own all four (except my GMT II was the 16760).
Sold them all and replaced them with the new ceramic versions - except for the Daytona, which was replaced by the Deepsea. I'd say the four essential current references are - the GMT IIc, the Milgauss, the Datejust II and the Sub LV. |

If I could have any 4 Rolex watches it would be the following:
Explorer II 42mm White Dial = Have this. It made me run out to buy my first Rolex WG Sub "smurf" = Don't have this. GMTIIC Day/Night = Don't have this yet but if I like it as much in person will be my next. Platinum DD with Glacier Dial = Probably only in my dreams. This is what I would fancy today but it could all change tomorrow. I would really love the WG Sub. |
