Well in the real world its been like that over the past 24 years, you could count on one hand the number of 100% real new watches as most are just cosmetically changed old ones. Nothing in the Rolex line really excites me now, yet some are still willing to pay crazy money for the hyped ones on the grey market, but hype sells watches today as many buy the hype to wear it..

100% agree. That dial is incredible & the total standout by a country mile over all the other releases.
That Daytona dial is amazing too mind, but a heavy hitter piece so I’ll have to pass….. lol Glad I’m not really a GMT or Sub fan - literally nothing to get excited about there for those folks. |

Good guys Rolex
Hear me out, what if this year is so underwhelming because Rolex wants to focus on fulfilling older orders and not having to get new ones for the latest releases.

Plat 1908 is a beauty
The GMT is unimpressive. Does it even deserve a nickname? One prediction was correct - last year was explosive for Rolex so this years releases would be muted. |

Good thing I waited until I woke up for work to look at new releases. At least my waitlist is still only 1 watch, saves me some $$$ :)

I think Coke will all be set and primed for next year now, they can't have 2 WW flops in a row. Only good thing about this year's release.

Tudor yellow gold bb58 on bracelet is the best release I've seen in a while. Hopefully, it trades at below msrp. love it.

It seems that Rolex is content with only looking after its absolute best and top clients by discontinuing the Le Mans Daytona, a watch only the absolute elite was really able to obtain. This new release and lack of discontinuation leave the GMT line overcrowded and saturated, in my opinion.
I see no reason why the brand needs so many GMTs in its lineup, especially considering getting one is so difficult anyway—it makes actually making a choice a moot point. Also, it's very odd for the brand to overlook the 70th anniversary of the Submariner completely. |

The new gmt Gray/Black with the green 24h hand and green lettering is pure awesomeness. I couldn’t find the width of the lugs though, are they still 20mm wide?

I think it safe to say that due to the extent of variants of the GMTs that Rolex now have to offer. This must have an impact on production numbers, and if the red blue is proving difficult to manufacture, any production company would focus on what they can get out the door!

I know someone at W&W and the Pepsi is literally in the display with the new releases. Looks like it's not getting cut this year.
