Thanks for the review. Got mine two weeks ago after 14 years of collecting. This should be everyone's first good watch.

Thanks again, guys, for all the compliments. It is fun for me to see this thread continue to be enjoyed and added to. Here's a fresh shot I took of how my SubC looks at night:
(Photo shot with a humble iPhone camera, with no editing, and I think it turned out pretty darned cool!) I've been wearing my 114060 daily, basically 24/7, and my enjoyment has not waned. Best. Watch. For. Me. Ever. Cheers! Dave |

Other than my personal preference for a date feature I'd say your remarks are spot on. Great watch and it looks really good on you!

Great review! Interesting that you're a 14060 owner as well. I've thought of trading from 14060m to 114060 but can't decide if worth it. Reviews like this make me think it might be.. Anyone else owned both?

Thanks for the great review!
Yep - I had not seen previous reviews of this fab Submariner mention the fact that the tone changing bezel sometimes replicates the look of a faded bezel on a vintage sub..Very clever aesthetic indeed - Utterly luscious to look at and use!
I've had Oyster Dates, Datejusts, Explorers, GMTs, Daytonas and Sub Dates but this is my current all time favourite watch of all!! |

Nice pics!! and I completely agree when u said
"I just prefer the crisp, natural symmetry of the cleaner, simpler dial, and the lack of the visual distraction that the cyclops adds" I'm in love with my subc nd it gets more wrist time than my BLNR. bec. of her simplicity. |

Really nice write up, and nice to read about your feelings of the watch. And I have to agree it is a stunner, I tried it on at my local AD today and wow, just wow, what a beauty. Enjoy!

I pulled the trigger after wearing my Air-King-Date for 25 years. It should be here before Christmas. The lack of a date is going to be challenging for me, but I'm certain this is the model I want. The clean dial looks soooo good. These pictures make the upcoming weeks hard to take.
