A watch that can join me on activities there I normaly would leave the other watches at home, but still not G-schock activities.

Do you see the point in this or is it a bad idea?
Similar tastes. My Explorer II is my beater/semi-beater and my BLRO is my weekender, dressier, mix-in. I like my chances at getting a 116500 from my AD this year.

So I'd say Explorer or Explorer II in the beater category.

I've got a Seiko skx dive watch.
I'm not sure if it's my beater or my 'semi' beater.

I’d vote white seamaster with the Tudor gmt as a close second.

Sinn 856 tegimented. Essentially scratch proof, 200m water resistant, and anti magnetic. Easy to change bracelet to straps.

16570 Polar would check this box for me, though I’d definitely call it a beater...but for what the OP meant, that’s a good candidate.

I use my 16610 and 14060 as daily wearers or "semi beaters" but when I'm doing activities where I know the watch is truly going to get beat (like getting smashed along a brick/stucco wall or hit a metal frame doorway, etc., then I'll wear either my Scurfa, Marathon or my Sinn beater (the 856) because truly beating up a $$$$ watch makes no sense to me.

Definitely a semi beater. Fishing, biking, construction, handles it all excellent. Bracelet took a hit with a mini sledge this weekend while smashing a grounding rod. The PO is a most favorite of mine.

This is how you know you don't have too much money...too much money and you start to lose sight of obvious things, even if you can afford them!

Since I'm always near "at least semi-beater situations in my line o work", I do have Longines Hydroconquest 39mm, sometimes on the original bracelet and sometimes on black or olive nato...that's my semi-beater but I try to be as careful as possible with it.

My main is 216570(finally got it), and that says a lot about my lifestyle as it fits me perfectly. I just won't destroy it when inspecting construction sites haha.

Got one o those "Casioak" GShock, but never bonded with the idea of wearing it. Might try today. Gotta take the kid to the beach, but my Exp loooooves the beach haha!

I can understand why you might want to spare it from some of the scrapes and adventures, but I think it would be extremely cool to wear your BLRO for those occasions.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SiVGPhkPiNM

OP this is a great question. It’s important to have watches at difference price (comfort) levels. I have a TAG aquaracer that I wear as my beater watch now. I think anything from them or Breitling would do the job of “do anything without worry” watch. If you buy it second hand an Omega could also be a great beater. Not expensive so you can go about your day without scratch worry, no one ever recognizes them, but still nice and Swiss. Above those for sure are lower tier Rolex watches such as the ones you’ve listed that make great “semi-beaters”. I would go with a DJ rather than the explorer to add something mildly dressy to your collection since you already have two sports watches.

An Explorer 1 or OP39 seem like a good fit for your collection
