I'm no whale at my AD, but they've delivered me a number of desirable SS Rolexes, and I've turned down a few, including the first new BLNR, Hulk, SS SkyD Blue, etc. And I know two individuals in the local watch collecting community who were indeed blacklisted by them for flipping desirable pieces acquired shortly after buying them (granted, they were idiots and showed off the warranty card unredacted). Yet at the same time, I'm sure if those two guys went back wanting to buy PMs, I'd be surprised if they said no.

I was told that apparently, I've been blacklisted by FPJ as I flipped my CB a few months after I bought it after having waited a year, didn't matter I actually wore it, enjoyed it, but got bored of it and they refused to resolve some quality issues. So maybe that colours my experience. Not crushed about it all though, if they don't want my money, I'll go somewhere else.
Have you considered bringing it up to the AD on your next purchase as a trade? I'm not sure what the numbers would be, or how long you've owned the watch in question, but a trade-in may monetarily benefit all parties.

If you tithe the golden goose, you may still be rewarded with eggs.

My point was misconstrued as I was generalising. Most flippers don’t have 12,000 posts on a watch forum. I wouldn’t count you as one of these.

Again, no offence to you guys. The fact is that many of these pieces are going to the wrong people.

I have a bit of a background in film so I am more that way inclined, otherwise I have a terrible memory nowadays and I can't remember sheet about most things, quite alarming considering I was an A student and with the memory too, I don't think I have early onset I think it's a case of use it or lose it with memory.

It is one of the strangest titles to a TV show I've come across, and if you Youtube the theme tune you'll think it's another language, lots of cockney slang in it. Probably the most loved comedy show in UK history.

I'd say the Trotter brothers were more loved, they were like one of our own, Fawlty Towers is maybe more admired, esp by writers and comics.

Not according to the Radio Times, in April – it actually was voted #1, funnily enough, but Del Boy, Rodney, and Trigger only ranked 6th.
Interestingly though, Father Ted was second, and Blackadder 4th… even thinking of some scenes from those two has me in ruptures.
Mind you, how that Partridge crap ever came 3rd is completely beyond my comprehension.

That is a strange poll, I'd have Fools, Fawlty and Blackadder as my top three.

And a heads up Curb Your Enthusiasm is back on Sky Atlantic this week.

Many of Us have been in this game a long time and bought some dogs and taken some losses so it is hard for me to sympathize. As for the guy selling, Maybe he wants to upgrade into something more expensive and keep his money within the brand. I see no issue with that.
100 % Agree. Hate the player not the game.

The patek forum be really boring if it didn’t. I come on here to kind of check in with guys kind of like going to a local bar.

If all it becomes a very strict place... it’s going to be very boring.
