The previous tease shows minutes markers more akin to some 7928's have where there is no circle around the dial which the minute markers extend from. The dial on the safe set at 53 could just be a hint that a Sub is coming. I think something more like this 7928. I believe it was last sold in 1969, 50 years ago. The twist maybe lollipop or Snowflake hands or a 3,6,9, dial or a Red bezel. |

That rehaut is crazy thick. If they aren’t doing a new sub, possibly it’s a “deep sea” of sorts? Hope it’s a sub though.

Even Rolex needs to have a parking lot sale occasionally ........................ in hopes some will return to buy their main line products.

I said before a Blue Sub would be a huge hit for Tudor... but then maybe too big a hit so maybe Rolex vetoes this, maybe for themselves later, and you get other colours. Maybe the merc hands get vetoed too.

That's what I've been saying, it's going to be a deepsea equivalent of some sort.

This should be interesting and the photographs lead to a lot of speculation and wishes. I will be a buyer in the 40 mm and up range.

Anyone find it interesting that the watch is sitting a “green box” of sorts... I wonder what the small yellow dish/tray is about.

I'd be fine if they did it in 41mm as well. As long as its 12-12.5mm thick |

My guess is the colours on the tease match those of a Tudor rose?

The watch sitting in a green box = Green Leaves of a rose
Red Rose petals around the centre = Red bezel ? |

One thing is for sure; Tudor is tickled pink that their teaser has resulted in a thread with over 6000 views from potential buyers.

Since 2010 Tudor has kept us at the edge of our seats. These teasers make for an exciting brand with a few disappointments for some but for many, future must haves.

Only disappointment for me was the bb chrono really. Did not like that design.

Sorry if someone already posted this - I’m late to the thread and 100+ posts behind.
Grady’s blow up had me thinking about why the crown (and potential crown guards) were not visible. Maybe Tudor is adding to its “Heritage” collection in an homage to the 1959 OYSTER PRINCE SUBMARINER “SQUARE CROWN GUARDS” REF. 7928? It would be the 50th anniversary and would add to this lineup: Square crown guards would be a sure giveaway so perhaps the reason for not showing them in the photo. Thinking more about it by going to a 41-42mm case it does a lot to the "Sub" lineup by offering another option, one which conservative Rolex wouldn't other wise do. |

I just think Rolex would want to have clear delineation between it and Tudor. A black sub would be expected and ubiquitous so understandable but a blue Sub could mean no plans for a Rolex blue SS sub in that case, but I doubt Rolex want to rule that option out.

The next subc will prob have red text. So I dont think a black sub would be an issue. That said I am hoping for either a red sub or green sub. All I ask is please dont do the same damn burgundy or blue or any colors they have done before. Please tudor.

Hmm, all this hustle bustle over a little teaser?!
The Tudor guy called me, he said they’re moving toward the Apple Watch style with their new sub. So people can read text under water, duh! You know? |

It will be interesting to see how a new Sub compares with an Omega SMP If they can be had for a similar price.

The GMT Pepsi tandem kinda diminishes that line of reason a bit.
