It doesn't come with any papers or hang tags, only the box and instruction manual. He doesn't say it DOESN'T come with those items, he simply lists what it DOES come with, which is totally acceptable in my opinion. If I bought that, should I expect it include anything other than what is listed? |

Seems to me you got what was advertised and now you have realised you paid too much for it. Buy second hand and it is buyer beware. I think they should throw you the extra links if they have them as a gesture of goodwill, but I don't think they should be obligated to.

Mark, my point is that you got exactly what was shown in pictures and listed in the description. You can't fault the seller for what you assumed was included, can you? |

I personally don't think you do. But here are lots of people that do and love to try and negotiate AFTER they receive a watch. I would imagine that ANY of the volume sellers here would attest to that.

If Mark's watch has been so clearly defined there would have been less of a problem, if no problem at all. His watch had 10 links (unlike 11 in the example pic) and the pictures were smaller and fuzzier. I do like the use of the ruler confirming the wrist size. They should do this with every listing so as to avoid confusion.

I'm sorry but even the bottom picture is deceptive. The angle of the photo makes it look like it is longer than it actually is like it would fit an 8 inch wrist. You don't have to be a genius to see that.

A basic understanding of perspective shows the pictured watch to be 7.4 - 7.5".

Fair play is all that's needed. It seems to me that the seller should be emailing Mark to tell him that a single link is on it's way and this thread can be bounced.

Looks like I'm not the only one they've labeled an extortionist.

IMHO I think they descibe the watch correct with a lot of pics. Some ad's says fits a 7½" wrist and som ad's says 8" wrist.
That is correct they not state there are missing links but I believe all dealers sell preowned watches as it was when they buy it. I have never heard about dealers that buy links to get a complete bracelet if not all the links are in place. I guess if you have bring it on the table before you buy the watch you have got two extra links. You have to buy the seller and you have to check a preowned watch very careful before you close the deal. That is rule number 1. Then the behaviour that the seller have when you complains it's another deal, that is not acceptable. I think a fair solution have been you have paid for one link each. I hope it will end in a good way.
