thanks guys. it was a real toss up between that and the skydweller. i love the balanced look of the DD40, but it would have been very small on me I feel.
ultimately went for the classic DDII.

and let me say i am a fan of yours as well. chocolate dial was high in the running for me. along with silver and olive.

and i was sooooooo close to pulling the trigger on a wg. just needed to try it on in person first, and given the state of things, i got impatient. man that's nice though !!

This is platinum but the white gold is also gorgeous. I'm partial to the smooth bezel found only on the PT as I think it pairs better with the meteorite dial/baguettes!

Beautiful watch! Your sweater cuff gives a partial illusion of a fluted bezel.

It's right up there with my OQ DD 19018 competing for tops in my collection

Now that’s a combination ranging from outer space (meteorite) to deep inner earth (diamonds).

Looks great with the diamond hour indices and simple smooth bezel.

Agreed - It’s a shame that smooth bezels became platinum-only, they make for such a great, clean design.

Anyone know what spring bars a platinum DD(5 digit) is using and if using steel spring bars on a platinum watch will damage it?

The DD40 is my next watch. I want to post a pic here badly!

However, it is going to take some time before I'm ready to drop that kind of coin on a watch. Who knows, maybe 2021 will be a great sales year as we (hopefully) snap out of this pandemic and that will give me what I need. Until then...happy wife...you know the rest.

Great watches everyone!
