Like this Gucci one. I have basically the same setup. 216570 black dial, same card holder. Prior to that was a coach card holder...which held up for over a decade if I really think about it.

FLP card holders look great! For those that own the 4cc etendard card holder, how well does that canvas hold up over time?

I don't own the card holder but have owned the FLP 6cc wallet for 4 or 5 years and the canvas looks exactly the same as when I bought it.

Hermes Calvi card holder.

I prefer minimal wallets, only have my ID and 4 cards (2 CC, Costco card and insurance card) so this is perfect.

Hermes Calvi card holder.

I only carry cards. Cash in a bundle in my other pocket.

Hello friends !!

I'm looking for a quality wallet that remains discreet (no visible mark if possible or very small).
I really like Montblanc, where I bought my cardholder 20 years ago, a cardholder which is still on top but does not allow me to put too many money.

I found Launer London (the brand that communicates with the queen of England), there's Bellroy (which I don't know) and still Montblanc.

Could you broaden my horizon or confirm one of my pre-choices please?

Thanks !!!

I have a nice Mont Blanc I use when I travel because it's thin and accommodates a passport but old faithful below has been good enough for a decade or so of everyday use. I probably shortened it's life a bit over the Holidays by putting it (accidentally) through a complete wash and dry cycle inside a jacket pocket. The only casualties were some lunch and gas receipts that are now blank slips of paper. They'll just have to take my word for it when I do my expense report.

My wallet game is pretty weak. Can't say I ever gave it much thought.

Currently looking for a wallet, so thought I'd check out a few pages of this thread.
But I guess I'm looking more for something a little more rugged, like something made by Timberland, LL Bean, Swiss Army, or Columbia, not a company that makes women's shoes and purses. The quest continues.

Give Ashland Leathers a look. I wear the Fat Herbie in natural shell cordovan leather. Beautiful and rugged, with a nice patina as it ages

So that rules out LL Bean and Columbia (women's shoes), Timberland (purses) and the worst of all, Swiss Army...they make women's perfume!

See what I did there?

I wear an Ashland Leathers "Fat Herbie".

Handmade from Horween horsehide leather (shell cordovan) in Chicago.

The card layout is quite unique making this one of the thinnest wallets I've worn. The billfold is also large enough to hold any paper currency which is very welcomed for travel.

Its extremely robust and patinas beautifully with age.

Yes this! I am a huge Goyard person (lots of bags and duffels) but the Faure le Page stuff holds up and looks great for every day stuff.
