Was there any particular reason they made the hour makers larger on the LV? anybody know?

It was probably to emulate the original Maxidial from the 4 digit Sub and then up the anti even more with the fatter hands to make the luminosity of the dial as good as it could possibly be
Maybe they were also testing the market to try and gauge public perception of the whole concept. After all it proceeded the 6 digit Sub which also heralded the Hulk, then there's every diver they've made since which has the same Maxidial/hands style.

That looks great. I only lasted a day with the black bezel on mine. This pic makes me want to try it again. I'm going to look for my pic in the modified thread.

Hi,

I have a buddy who needs to raise cash and asked me if I want to buy his Kermit. I never really considered a kermit but it's a pretty good deal (albeit no box and papers.)

I came to this thread to look at pictures and noticed there seems to be a dark green bezel and a lighter green bezel. Can someone please explain to me the difference between the two (obviously not asking about the color).. Is one older and one newer?

Do we think this is a nice item to round out my:
116520 Daytona
Batman and Rootbeer collection?

This is the watch:
