versus original post (emphasis mine):

Help with info on found Rolex
I found this Rolex I believed belonged to my x-father-in-law. It looks old. black face srounded by blue, date (actual day, Saturday the 9th and date), name on face is Clinton from what I can see. It is a rolex, I took it to a dealer. they said it might be so old and a collectible. it has a world time bezel around the large chrystal. I will send a pic if you would like. Michelle

So...did you find a Rolex that said "Clinton" on the dial, or a Clinton that said "Rolex" on the dial?

Where does your original post say you borrowed a photo off of ebay (or wherever) and that the band on your found Rolex (or whatever) is substantially different than that of the one you posted?

Really, folks on TRF are genuinely very helpful...just be honest and don't waste everyone's time.

why didn't you post a pic of the front of the watch at the same time? I'm willing to bet that it does not say Rolex on the dial, just the bracelet and that's probably a fake .

It's really not confusing...it's not a Rolex. Someone put a different band on the watch...most likely a fake Rolex band.

like it takes that long to take a picture. You could have easily taken a pic of the front aswell and posted it 20 times over by now. You must think everybody here is stupid. GET LOST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why does this feel like Jocke or somebody woke up today and decided to yank our chains. Seriously though, this is hillarious. My bet is this watch will end up being a clintex or a rolton.

never greeted anyone that way....she originaly said that the dial has Rolex and clinton on it, so what does she do, she posts a pic of the back side but not the front...if she posts a pic of the dial and I am wrong I will apologize.

ya tha's right, i was wrong about the dial, but she also said " it's a Rolex, I took it to a dealer" no Rolex dealer would ever say that it's a Rolex, so I still say she's a liar.

I really don't understand why you posted a photo of the back of he watch.

I told you just keep it simple. Too many inconsistencies in my mind to give you the benefit of the doubt about anything.

You said your husband was going to do the photos when he got home. Now you make the excuse your camera isn't working.

However, you do manage to get 1 hopeless photo of the back of a watch that is just a joke.

If I was stupid, I'd probably guess you had a Rolex Submariner. Someone would read that and before long, people might start to believe that was true. The next thing is someone offers you a few $000's for this watch and they get scammed.

I deleted two references made early on by you indicating your desire to sell this watch......come on get real....

You will have more info on this tomorrow. the flip videos are so large they are taking forever to upload here, therefore the only one was the back of it. As I said I do not care anything about the $$$ just want to know what the hell it is. OH and for everyone to accused me of saying it said Rolex on the face is full of it, I said Clinton, Rolex band people, re-read. And also, should I call the three people that looked at it liars like I'm being called here time and time again?????????? Re-read my first post: "I found this Rolex I believed belonged to my x-father-in-law. It looks old. black face srounded by blue, date (actual day, Saturday the 9th and date), name on face is Clinton from what I can see. It is a rolex, I took it to a dealer. they said it might be so old and a collectible. it has a world time bezel around the large chrystal.

Oh and I will go wake my husband up to help me here, NOT. He is discusted already.

I am so so so sorry I found this site, my huge mistake.
