All of them under $13k on chrono24, I’m sure you can get better deals if you shop around a little bit :)

I used to wear a 39mm Explorer as a daily driver. I bought a Tudor BB58 that I ended up wearing more. Very similar wrist feel and different enough with the vintage black BB58 feel. You just have to appreciate Tudor, which many of us on TRF do!

I have gotten my head around paying above retail (took me awhile....), but come on. $9k for an OP39, shoot me.

Is there anything out there on a bracelet that you guys (and girls) really like for the money? I've been though so much:

- Fifty Fathoms had me twice. Such an amazing watch, just so heavy and cant afford the titanium
- Sub had me a couple times, too. But so common.
- I want to like the Milgauss (im a big dork) but just cant.
- Speedmaster... LOVE... just so many versions and, unless its a snoopy, i fall asleep
- Grand Seiko NEEDS to learn to make a solid bracelet

Considering -
- Datejust 41 (how can i pay so much above retail....)
- New IWC Pilot 43 (Bracelet looks amazing)
- JLC Polaris
BUT LOOKING FOR A ROLEX.

Sorry, venting as i type this. I just want to feel like my money went in well. What is out there that is "well priced"...

What's the difference between buying a Rolex over retail and something like a JLC, Breguet or Blancpain at retail if you never plan on selling? Both you will take a hit. Just do it if you want the watches.

I wouldn’t say it’s “ego”. A wristwatch in 2021 is jewelry and has very little to do with telling the time anyway.

You just have to accept the market prices and get the Rolex you want.

That is, unfortunately, the going rate for a SS Rolex. If you want one, get one now...the prices are not going to come down. You'll only end up paying more later.

That was well written. If the aim is to keep the
watch then the watch may be either new or preowned,
over retail price or a list.
The money is spent on it. In any case it is an
important thing that the buyer is pleased with the watch.

I would jump on a vintage Tudor Submariner before they go too mad. I could pony up for my dream Daytona at cost but grey would kill me, therefore Tudor wins.

The Omega Planet Ocean is better than all the above mentioned watches.

That is your ticket.
