Look like UK still the cheapest to buy. 6950 sterling for 116610lv which is 7800euro. In AD in Ireland it is currently 8450euros

Tax can be avoided in US if mail order to different state.

The UK prices above include VAT @ 20%, so the price net of VAT is 5/6 of what you see.

yeah A BLRO is less than 9K USD in the UK, including tax. In the US, including tax its over 10K.... i know because i bought one in the UK and paid in dollars

the same is true relatively speaking for all watches. So the increase makes perfect sense based on relative pricing

Prices are a little higher than Switzerland now, but here sales tax here is only around 8%. So for someone from outside Europe who can claim tax back, UK is still cheaper.

Thanks for the info. Those new prices seem to be on par with the CAD MSRPs + 12% Sales Tax.

Would this price rise have anything to do with the UK being cheaper than many other places because of the crap pound?

had a quick scan of the thread, sorry if asked or covered.

anyone know if this covers tudor as well.

was making enquiries to my AD,
but in retrospect there was an odd comment about pricing that i didn't pay attention to.

i wasn't in the store, they know me enough i can order over the phone and the comment was something along the lines of "may be able to absorb some of the possible price increase for you"
at the time i just thought it might have been an exchange rate thing.

It's weird that you guys don't get a price when you visit the Rolex website. In Australia it displays the MSRP for each watch. For example.
