Cyclops looks bad as does everything else and great to share your clients watch serial number too I’m sure he’d be happy with that also

You could have at least used an authentic smurf dial and authentic smurf ceramic insert.using these fake parts looks trashy and is a big no no from me

Interestingly enough, maybe it’s a coincidence but this watch was recently posted in the For Sale section on here by the OP.

I'm surprised it hasn't been taken down from the for sale board as it's probably a trademark violation given it is not authentic. I doubt Rolex authorized someone to make a dial with its name on it.

Totally concur. I once was seated next to a gentleman who was wearing what appeared to be a platinum Daytona with ice dial / chocolate bezel. We were chatting casually and I complimented him on his beautiful Daytona. I did not ask to look at it or anything.

He blushed a bit with an aw shucks then confided with me that it was
just a SS Daytona that he’d had converted to look like the PT reference.

I would never want to be that guy.

Must've been taken down.

How much would it cost to put it back if you had to source OEM parts? After all it is still a Rolex, just needs to be reversed. Might be worth it at the right price to take it on. Especially if the original parts were included in the sale.

I just checked and it’s still there...listed for $12k for the modified 116610LN.

Looks great IMO

I'm guessing you have to get lucky or know someone to source the OEM bezel and dial.

I would expect this mod to be on a Seiko 007, not a Rolex. To each their own I guess.

Interesting. Being sold at a premium for the customization.
