My sub is my daily wearer. Brushed steel is perfect for withstanding that daily wear & tear. I'm not sure I'll wear my Daytona to work to often when I get it. A bit too flash & the PCLs quickly get scratched up.

Why wouldn't I wear my Rolex to work? I didn't buy it to leave on my night stand, I bought it to wear.

I wear my DJ every day for work.

Two of my bosses have DJ's also. They both spotted mine the day I first wore it and complemented me. However they now tell me I don't need a pay rise if I can afford a Rolex. Of course I do I need to buy more!

I was considering not taking it on holiday with me. I was worrying about loosing it in the pool or sea, theft, getting mugged, looking like a show off, no end of reasons.

Then common sense prevailed. I'm going to wear it, I love it. What did I buy it for if I'm not going to wear it?

Wear your Rolex every day and don't worry about anyone else. Just make sure you're well insurred.

I wear watches in rotation and wear everything I have. Sometimes a week at a time. I just hate taking them off to do procedures. Need to tuck them safely in my lab coat or scrub pocket. There are a few WIS I work with who love show and tell days. Of course, most are not WIS and notice my Orange Doxa the most. I say wear and enjoy. Scratches are just scratches. A watch in a safe or a garage queen car is nice and clean... but you haven't enjoyed it to the fullest and you don't have memories and association with said objects. As I'm about to hit the big 40 in 6 months... I'm beginning to realize how short life is. My little baby girl is turning 7 and it feels just like yesterday that I was holding here. So again... I say wear it to work and enjoy.

I wear mine daily, unless I have a race to run, then the Garmin goes on for a few hours.

I wear a Rolex everyday of the week. I purchased it because I like it. I do not really worry about what anyone else is wearing. My boss wears a casio and my good friend, who also works with me, wears an Invicta.

I always wear my Rolex to work. My boss was wearing an old Timex and recently upgraded to a $39 Invicta he bought at Costco. I wear a nicer watch than him and dress much nicer than him. Just my own personal preference of giving a damn what I wear and how I wear it.

I wore one to work once

I wore a Rolex during both my first and second Iraq tours. They took quite a beating but after shaking off the first bump on the radio mount it was ok and the local place made them look new when I got back.
So in my real job in a hospital I don't hesitate. If you have one,,,wear it!

When I picked up my GMTIIc it has greater wrist presence so I thought it would be noticed more. Not at all. No one has commented on it - and I am 100% good with that!
I agree. I have worn SS, TT, YG with no one noticing it which is exactly what I like. I don't even look at a person's wrist to see what watch they are wearing alot of the times, if a person into watches don't do that all the time I doubt an average person would. I like it this way, I can wear a watch I like and bliss in the knowledge that I have a marvelously engineered piece of treasure on and I am the only one to get to enjoy it

That watch probably goes into a lot of dark places.

Rotate my sub date, exp 2, deep sea now and I even wear my vintage gmt if I feel it goes with my mood that day!
In fact I usually give them a rest in weekends and wear my other brands.
My rolexes are a great partner and see me thru the ups and downs in life everyday!
