A Grail Has Arrived!!
So, I was wanting to get a special watch to add to my collection. A watch that I would only wear on special occasions.
A watch that was simple and practical and easy to just pick up and wear. As my wrist size is small (6.25 inches), Less than 40 mm was required. No need for many complications. When I saw this one, it seemed perfect. A. Lange & Sohne 1815 Up Down Limited Edition White Gold. Blue hands (my favorite color). No date - who really needs the date on those special occasions that the watch would be worn. Useful complication - Nice to know if the watch needs more winding. I am blown away by this piece and it exceeded all of my expectations. Here are the pics - sorry for the weak wrist shot. |

That hinged back is HOT
I've never seen a power-reserve as a full circle before, usually they're 90 degree wedges. Great watch |
