Deep Sea Book

For those who recently purchased a Deep Sea Blue or a standard Deep Sea, did you receive a copy of the book: 'The Last Frontier" with the purchase?

Had a wtb AD on here for a few weeks. Approached by many scammers. Finally snagged one for $90 US. Should arrive in a couple of days. You will almost never find one at an AD imo. They only got like 2 total...back in 2014.

After I got mine member Tifosi offered to sell me one. I said i already found one. Not sure how much he wants but I know it is more than $90. Feel free to contact him as he was considering selling.

I have 2. Right place, right time. I think I'll hold on to them for a while

Actually I was given one by a charming young lady at the Rolex Boutique when I picked up my Deep Sea Blue last week. The watch had been on order for about three months. I was surprised when given the book since I thought they were no longer available.

When the first DSSDs were being delivered my AD received 2 books. I got my DSSD (first one) and asked for the book. My second DSSD (for a friend) I got the other book which I gave him.

Since then I purchased maybe another her 7 DSSDs for friends and no other copies have been given to me nor has my AD received another copy. I could ask my RSC but it would be an old copy they would have and not a new piece.

I am also very very surprised that you got a copy of the book with your purchase. Especially if you did not specifically request the book beforehand. It is possible that they could have made a special request from Rolex if you had mentioned it beforehand. Only other way I could see this happening is if it was a smaller AD that has not sold many DSSD blue? I was under the impression that AD's were not receiving additional copies. Interesting!

When I walked in the smaller AD store and gave him a downpayment to find me the deepblue, he just handed me the book and I had no idea what he gave me. He said he got one other but was keeping for himself. Guess I am lucky to get it.

I was lucky enough to receive one last week from the AD I frequent; was told they only received two (and I didn't have to purchase the DSSD)

Did you have to pay for the book?

I managed to snag 2 a couple of years ago in Dubai. No purchase made but I do have the original deepsea. Didn't realise they were that hard to come by
