5270 vs 5970, Which watch do you prefer? Just like to know how do you think?

5970 for balance and historic movement

5270 for legibility (some differences among versions) and modern in house movement with extended power reserve.

5270. Blue dial is modern and dynamic.

I never have a chance to view 5270 in real. Does 5270 blue dial looks nice than white dial?

Do you prefer 5270R or G?

I am consider to buy 5270, but I never see it real. Hard to decide what model(R or G white dial or G blue dial) to choose.

I used to own and enjoyed the 5270g-019 (3rd generation blue dial). I now own the 5270r-001 (although it's still single sealed, so not worn yet). Despite being the same watch, they have such a different feel. The blue dial is stunning and more modern. The blue dial is strikingly beautiful. The R is quintessential Patek. The warmth of the rose gold is velvety and pure class. You really can't go wrong with either, although I think the R is probably more readily available at an AD, at least in the US. Whichever you buy, buy it wright. Good luck.

I love and am strongly considering the 5270 blue dial. It's incredibly striking. The r dial looks cold and worn to me. The coloration is parchment like.

With either model, I would go Rose Gold.
The 5970 fitted my wrist slightly better, though I do like the layout of the 5270.
So, to me it would be a win, win situation.
Lovely place to be in, Brian.

5270 with those lugs looks more detailed to me.

I bought this one sight unseen. For me slightly larger, in house movement, my name on the certificate and a continued great relationship with George at Govberg made this the one.

The 5270r could quite possibly be one of the most beautiful Patek's made.

Thank you for all your recommendation.

Both 5970 and 5270 are very nice watch to have. 5970 is already discontinue. So my choice is only 5270. It is hard to decide which model of 5270 to go for it. They are all very beautiful watch to wear.

I download these pictures from Internet. They looks so nice.
