Managed to get the only one available in the city

. It was still in the plastic "coffin box" straight from Rolex as they hadn't had time to put it in the display box yet

The lume looks blue to the camera, but is more green to the eye.

It's a beauty. Seems to wear much bigger than 40mm--which is a plus for a Paneristi like me.
Checked accuracy this morning: spot on after 24 hours.
On the road now, so can't post pictures. But will soon.

No offense, but the dial is what gives the soul of the C-LV. You have stripped that by replacing the green gold dial, or did you just get a ceramic LV bezel?

Either way, I don't like it. The green gold dial looks black to me most of the time indoors; it is on sunny days the green gold dial really shines. to each their own, but I find that combo to be an atrocity IMHO. You should have gotten the real 50th anniv 16610LV.

Please, don't be offended, but the sight of your watch makes me sick that you turned an C-LV into a franken watch. However, if it makes you happy, it is all that matters.
