One thing concerns me with this watch is that the lume in the hands does not match the lume on the hour markers. It seems the lume in the hands is a lime green and the hour markers are predominently a white colour.

Great photos, they do show this watch in all its glory.

The dial almost has a carbon fibre tint to it's coloured crosshatched appearance.

A perfect watch....almost.

wait wait wait, does the face REALLY change color depending on angle?! Is it a noticeable change? Or just remarkably subtle and brought out only in still photos?

Beautiful. I may have just found my next grail.

The colour of the dial itself doesn't change, but depending upon lighting conditions and angle the dial can appear black, chocolate brown or a metallic grey.

Mate thank you for the reviews and congrats on your new watch! Looks amazing with jeans! I am now interested to get one for myself! ;)

(Btw the DSSD on the last pic looks so thick!!)

Sorry to hijack this tread a bit but anyone know is there a PP Aquanaut 5167R (18KPG) brown rubber strap with diamond bezel? I saw someone wearing one in the wild but I cannot recall I ever seen one in the boutique nor in the catalogue. I am sure it is not a lady size. It is a men's watch. Thank you for your kind feedbacks. Cheers!!

The only one they currently offer like that is the Ladies 5068. No diamond bezels in the mens version. At least currently anyway.

Sounds like the three rubber strap colors you should get, Steve.

Great watch and thanks for the short review. The Aquanaut is marketed as a young professional's watch. I am not sure what PP's definition of "young" is though. I am leaning towards the Aquanaut over the Nautilus at this time. I will post pics of my final choice.

it's in the line up to entice the younger crowd - a bit like a cougar or milf in a pub - you know the goods have been around for a while but they sure look good and you want a piece of the action

much older cool dudes like paul mccartney and ringo starr love the Aquanaut so it's great for both cool kids and even cooler dudes

Good luck with your choice, I'm looking forward to seeing which one you chose.

Can I ask what size your wrist is Puffy ? I've been meaning to try one of these on for a while.

not sure mate... the strap can be resized to the biggest or slimmest wrists. plenty of slots to cut away at

I'm more worried about it being too small on my wrist. I like the watch to cover most of the surface of my wrist and don't like it when too much wrist is showing.

Regardless of the size of the wrist, there are still a number of variations in regards to flat and round wrist for example. It's really best to try it on in person to judge for yourself.

The diameter is 40mm and it has fairly long lugs, so for my 7 1/4" wrist I find it works fine for me.

Lovely looking watch. I prefer it over the Nautillus. Seriously considering selling 3 x Rolex to buy one of those.
