Daytona issue...

NEW ROLEX OWNER!!!

Quick question:
On my Daytona, the chrono second hand resets to 1/5 second past '0'. Is there a way for me to adjust this as on other watches I have owned or must a jeweler adjust it? Thanks.

Are you talking about the large second hand or the small sub seconds?.If its the large second you could let it run and try a few times to re-rest.If this fails, and you are not happy take it back to AD to get the hand aligned.Have heard of this little problem with quite a few Daytona's now.

It is the large sweep second hand that won't allign. I took it to several ADs and they all said that the watch would have to be sent to Rolex. I need a jeweler that will do it while I wait.

Try the RSC in Dallas. Maybe they can do it faster (although maybe not while you wait).

Hi JC,

Welcome to TRF. Good luck with that Daytona. As Ed (Rockrolex) advised, try the RSC in Dallas.
