ALSO TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF THE NEW STYLE!?!? the new case will take some getting used to. its about time they but a blue dial/bezel on a sub.. the seadweller looks like they pumped it up with roids. love the two tone shine on the sub band |

The sub is a White gold one
I didin't like the watches much and the only thing for sure is that they are going to be more expensive I also don't like the font of the colour that they used on the WG sub That blue is too childish

I am not sure about the Sub
i like the new SD (however I hope that writing on the inside ring won't be in the production model)

But as I stated in another section it looks like that extra ring was added to fill to the edge of the wider case and the face is the original size... R |

They should just put a billboard attachment on the bracelet that advertises the watches features! It looks as ridiculous as the YMII.

I mean the thought of white gold sub with a blue face is very cool but come now, I can have any SS sub polished to look just like that white gold... and the blue could be better. I don't like the chapter rings at all and the seadweller chapter ring just completely killed it!!!

They look weird with the un-natural lighting, still, I like them both!

I don't like the blue color. It looks like puke after a night long drinking binge. I think the old bluesy was beautiful in every way. Maybe this will sell but I am imagining that it will die a horrid death .
Maybe it will look better in person so I will try to with hold a lot of judgment but, a big YUK so far . Terry Newton

Ok folks. Its final. Rolex has officialy died in my eyes as a serious watch brand. If i want a watch that looks redicoulus ill just buy a panarai or a AP Safari. :barf:
Was nice chilling with you guys though. Cheers |

Agreed....and that would be the first time the black has managed to outshine the blue!!

I'm all over the DSSD. This ting is going to be a major hit just by viewing the responses around the community.
The WG Sub is a preview of what to expect on the SS version. I'll admit to being a bit shocked as to the color of blue chosen. Maybe it looks better in the flesh. The YG is stunning in my view. |

the problem with the new one is, IMHO, it is not available in a meteorite.
it just makes complete sense for me. combining the highest high, with the lowest depths . they completely missed the boat.

The Subs and DSSD are nice. At least they aren't slapping us in the face with the prospect of a $10,000 Sub that is unchanged from 1989. I like the fact that they responded to us with a matte dial and maxi indices. The new bezel is nicely done. The only negative is the text on the ring.
The new DD is nice. 41mm might be a hair big. 39mm would have been perfect. I'm glad I got my NIB Z-Serial SD for less than half of the current price. |

The black looks like a Seiko. The blue looks like an Invicta. They are not as classy.

Invicta I actually owned one of those, I ended up throwing it off a 5 story building after the bezel stuck and wouldn't turn. My endless quest for a cheap SS Sub
Sure glad that's over..... |

seadweller chapter ring There is no writing on the Seadweller chapter ring, my friend. The writing you are referring to is on a watch part called a "rehaut". The chapter ring is the dial and carries the hour marker indecies as well the minute "hash marks"

The new smurf blue on the sub looks pretty bad, go with the DSSD.
