It looks great on you, I was thinking about this combination too, but I'm light-skinned and it doesn't look that good.

Absolutely gorgeous....on my shortlist, just waiting to see if they announce a Jubilee bracelet in April before purchasing....honestly, sometimes we are slaves to the hype as I have tried on a pepsi, batgirl and rootbeer and thought the rootbeer was far the nicer of the 3, yet I own a pepsi and batgirl and no rootbeer

I know i get what you mean i have a daytona and blro and also a lv sub. But trust me if i had to keep one its definitely going to be this one as this watch was a watch that i truly wanted. The other ones i got because i liked them but also because it was thrilling to acquire them as they are so difficult.

But the rootbeer my goodness its amazing

A nice car or a t-shirt with Gucci written on the chest looks more provocative

Ive learned im not a YG TT person after owning bluesy for a few years. Everose TT I absolutely love and my chnr has become my daily driver. I hope rolex will do more ref in everose. But all personal preference which makes collecting fun.

After seeing the OPs pics, maybe i need to give YG and white dial a try. Those are stunners

With all this two tone love, decided to finally take out my 2016 datejust out of storage....only really wore it for one year before putting it in the safety deposit box so looks and feels new...smiled when I saw the receipt....Approx $11,700

Nice to have a 42/41/40 range of watches

I prefer the TT rolexes generally. I am looking at a TT SD at the moment

Look jazzed up. More of a wow factor

They are also easier to get hold of

its win-win

Inherited from my dad, but I have had it for about 35 year now. Still love the color combination. Would love to get the "new" Root beer CHNR. I did try it on and it is a beauty!

It is jazzy but weighs quite a lot for a Rolex, fair bit more than other TTs so make sure you try on first. I have thought of selling mine but its just so unique in the Rolex catalogue.

Fun story how I obtained this watch which could have me described as passionate or certifiable.....

So I got confirmation at about 2:45pm from the AD in Doha that he had exactly the watch I was looking for, so I asked him to hold it till the weekend so I could pick it up as its about a one hour flight from where I am located in Saudi....he said that was against their policy....so I found myself on a 5:30 flight to Doha that very same day, not really knowing if it would be sold by the time I got there although with Ramadan store hours things were in my favor..

So in just 5 hrs from receiving the text in Saudi, I had rushed to the airport and was outside the Rolex AD in Qatar by 7:45...bought the watch when they opened up at 8 and was on a 1:30 am flight back.....

Mission successful....brought back a beautiful watch at a great price and had fish and chips at the Harrods Tea room at Doha Airport...Good Days....
Excellent choice. I was wondering if it was a bit easier to purchase in Qatar or in Saudi Arabia? I tend to fly through the middle east quite often utilizing Qatar airways . Will also be in Riyadh next year to check out the NEOM the Line projects as well as the Sindallah , Trojena, Hexagon projects;. Saudi Arabia is really very open and dynamic with their radical construction transformation / de desertification .
