If you are going to post a photo of your watch do it with the hands set to 9:18 and the date reading Sunday 25th.

You have 24 hours from now to do this, or you will be subject to immediate and enduring expulsion.

I will sure do that. I will set the time and get it to you. and guys, why would I make up a story like this? ADMIN: Can I post a video???

P.S. I did not admit stealing the photo off eBay, it was the closest I could get to you before I got a real picture when my husband gets home.
I'm so so so sorry for upsetting everyone. I have no intention of making money off of this, I have no use for it, if I can sell it for $10 so be it.

Looks like my last post didn't post, sorry for the duplicate.

Just post a photograph of it, don't try and complicate things please.

I've deleted already 2 references you have made to attempting to sell this watch. There is no stopping you.

If you aren't interested in the money then just give it away for free, because there is no way you are going to sell it on this website, and that applies whatever photo you post, sorry but you should have read the rules.

The OP hasn't got a right to waste JJ's time with this crap, (not that JJ's really doing anything important mind you) he or she needs to disappear back into the woodwork from whence he or she came...

I'm sure these threads are a PITA for the mods, but they sure do provide some entertainment sometimes!

I agree, when someone that is new pops in with a BS story like this it makes me just want to scream, however I am going to be nice to this . It will be the last we hear of him after the mods ban him.

This thread is such a waste of time, it's not even worth posting on. That watch picture is such a cheap one, it doesn't even look anything close to a Rolex - not even close to a fake Rolex!!

Why are we letting this guy waste our time?

Well I have asked the mods to ban him however it was just a request since I am not the head boss here. I still think we need to:

It's not the first time someone comes here with stories of "found in the safe, ex girlfriend gave it as gift, father in law left it..." and try to fool people around. One thing is certain: intention is doubtful

Do not forget: found it in the street, Christmas gift, dead dad, found it on the floor, never ending lies.

Hmm, never say never. I think I inherited this vintage watch from my great-grandfather, or maybe it was from my late uncle in Canada, anyway, turned out to be some kind of prototype Submariner, and everybody laughed until my AD said it was priceless. Who's laughing now.

Not looking to sell, but hey, if the price is right....

It is a genuine Clinton 17 J auto from the 1970's - worth about $10-$20

Come now, it may not be a Rolex, but it's an honest watch from the past. No need to call it a POS.
