I bought an IWC first, I wanted a tough watch that wasn't a Rolex. Foolish me. My dad has it now and I haven't looked back.

Nothing comes close to Rolex in durability, timeless looks and as versatile.

This one right now
uploadfromtaptalk1368049742871.jpg Been thinking about the Rolex to bring back into the collection, but frankly this has fantastic finishing and a great bracelet. Other than looking at my wrist and winder and not seeing a Rolex there, I haven't missed it as much. Still, never had a bluesy. Others: I loved my AP, a step above clearly, but variety and budget ruled the day. Same thing with Breguet. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2 |

Hmmm, that is a hard one for me. Being that I hate most of the watches in IW magazine. I would say Omega because of the speedmaster, Brietling because I love very technical looking chronos, or one of my all time favorit brands Carl F Bucherer. I also love a good old Roger Moore 1970-1980's classic Seiko LCD if I could find a new one, those were so classic, or Grand Seiko. And if I was stupid rich a Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Traditionnelle Chronograph Perpetual. Thats my noob to luxury watch opinion.

I've diversified my collection away from Rolex to include AP, Daniel Roth (because it has the Zenith El Primero movement, and Omega (FOIS and Broad Arrow Moonphase) but still keep my 36mm Explorer I and WG Thunderbird because they're just so right.

If not Rolex i'd go for the g shocks from Casio..they are pretty much awesome..i had one but got stolen..so i guess i will have to wait a bit longer to collect the money and get myself a new one..they come at quite a high price you see and this time i am looking for the one with the altimeter.I really love them because of their macho nature and sturdy built.

If it's not Rolex, then going up the next line should be an Audemars Piguet!

PP and ALS are my top choices. I also like less expensive makers like Grand Seiko, Omega, Nomas, and Sinn.

If not Rolex, Seiko will do. It has in house movement with great accuracy and design.
