Sub C
While one gray market dealer I've dealt with has the Sub C priced at more than list I've seen several new ones advertised at less than the listed price. Since the Sub C hasn't been out very long I'm wondering if AD"s are already trying to unload a few.

Subs
I was at an AD yesterday picking up a 1.25 link and they had (2-Sub c's) one in the window and one in the case. Way cool, but the crown kills my wrist.

Yes- discounts can be had at AD's or here on TRF... don't pay over retail at gray market

With the economy down in Arizona the way it is I can't believe you couldn't get a discount at an AD. Try- it never hurts to ask.

No need to purchase one from a dealer when you have plenty of reputable sellers here!

My question was why did the price drop so quickly? Don't people like it? Did Rolex raise the price too high? Economy? All of the above. I don't want to buy one since I have a sub LV. If I were looking for one it would be out of state - sales tax is a killer.

People have learned that with a bit of patience a lot of money can be saved, so when ADs slap on a premium on first issue, fewer customers are biting and are instead preferring to wait. |

Definitely out there--don't pay up when you don't have to.
